TGIF

Another week gone and another weekend that I am sure will pass much too quickly. I feel like we have been going non stop this past week and I am hopeful this weekend will be a little more on the relaxing side.

Wednesday night Chris and I had dinner and drinks with out friend Ryan from Seattle who was here on work related business. We had a great night catching up and ended up not getting home until the wee hours of the morning, but it was great to see Ryan.
Thursday evening I went out for supper with my girlfriend Georgette. We of course went to Chili's because we both (me more than her) have this sad obsession with the place and their bottomless chips and salsa. After supper we did what any cool people do these days and we headed over to Costco. Chris and I were discussing how it definitely shows that your getting old when your idea of fun with your friends includes a trip to Costco. What can I say, I am lame. Deal with it;) After Costco we hit up Old Navy. I didn't buy anything but Georgette did. Since she always buys stuff without trying it on you can be sure she will be making a trip to an Old Navy in the near future to return the stuff that didn't fit or she decided she didn't like.
Chris had a softball game last night and is off to another one this evening. I decided to hang out at home instead of going with him but we may meet up with Ryan again this evening before he flies home to Seattle tomorrow.
There you have it folks. I am off to have myself some supper and probably indulge in some chick flick before Chris gets home. I might even get a little crazy and open some wine and read.

I love going to Costco. Really any kind of shopping.

I'm glad you guys had fun with Ryan. That's great that you got to see him.

As for Costco trips, I'm increasingly disenchanted every time I go there. Maybe I should start going with friends to liven it up a little.

Relaxing weekends are great! And I think Costco is quite entertaining actually. You gotta ask Andie about our occasional trips to Timmy's followed by Superstore. Haven't done that in a while have we Andie? Gotta kidnap pregnoid and ply her with decaf!
