Belle, Brooms and Showers

As some of you may know, my dog is terrified of the broom. She knocked it over once and it scared the crap out of her, ever since she won't even walk by it. So the other day Chris was gone and out and I went to have a shower, but since we have so much chocolate and candy and stuff laying around from Christmas I didn't want to leave her out to get at all of it. I knew if put her in her kennel she would just bark, so I decided to lock her in the bathroom with me figuring she would just lay down by the door. So I get in the shower and not even a minute later do I notice she is at the shower curtain trying to get in the bath. It was the oddest thing cause Belle HATES the bathtub, getting her into the tub is always a great challenge. Anyways before I knew it she had jumped in the tub with me while I was in the shower. WHAT THE HECK!! I could not figure out how or why my dog just jumped into the tub when there was water running. So I get her out only to notice the broom was leaning up against the wall by the door. She is so darn scared of the broom she got in the shower with me, it was the funniest thing.

Buried in Snow

We woke up this morning to A LOT of snow. We got a storm that they call a Nor'easter out here. http://www1.whdh.com/news/articles/local/B63789/ It started about 4 pm yesterday and continued all through the night. So when we woke up this morning there was at least a foot or more of snow outside. Poor Belle went out to go to the bathroom and the snow came up past her legs almost, it was funny watching her trying to figure out how she was supposed to go to the bathroom with snow up to her neck. So Chris left for work and about 2 minutes later he was back to tell me he couldn't get out of our road. We park in the back of our house and the road leading to it is a back alley almost and its not paved and is always the last road to get plowed in our area. So Chris backed up and tried to back out and he wouldn't budge. So he came back in and called Kathy (his boss) to tell her he didn't know when he would be able to get into work. And she just laughed and said "welcome to New England". So anyways finally the road was plowed and Chris was able to head to work. But the fun didn't stop there. Chris gets to the shop...for those of you who don't know, the main shop that the tech's work out of is in the basement of one of the starbucks stores. So anyways Chris gets there to find the door to the shop is buried in snow. It was waist deep and the door was totally blocked so Chris could not go in. So he had to go get a shovel from inside the Starbucks and dig his way to the door. ha! Finally he got in! What a very interesting morning, haha! So yes, we have A LOT of snow right now and it is still snowing a little bit. But it is supposed to warm up again leading up to new years eve.

Christmas, Snow and Other Ramblings!

Well first I must say that I got my Christmas snow that I wanted, it was just a day late. We woke up to snow this morning and then it really started snowing about 4 pm today and has been snowing ever since. I would say we have about 7 inches right now and it is supposed to snow pretty heavy all through the night. It is cold out, but SO pretty..I love it.

Christmas was wonderful. Christmas eve Chris and I went to church, which was nice. Then we just came home and had some dinner and watched some Christmas movies on tv. Most notably we watched A Christmas Story...for those of you who have not seen it I highly recommend you go out and watch it, it's great. Christmas morning we got up around 8 to open presents. We got all sorts of stuff, it was wonderful. My main present from Chris was a leather purse from Lane Bryant and I got Chris a wool coat from Old Navy. We got the usual...cd's, movies, books, gift cards and stuff. My sister in law Sue made me a fleece scarf with matching gloves and a touque, they are so soft. Anyways after breakfast we decided to drive out to the very tip of Cape Cod to a place called Provincetown. It was a very nice drive. We decided to drive out to the Cape Cod National Seashore and go down on the beach. We went for a nice long walk with Belle. It was cooooold, but we had a great time. There was lots of people out walking their dogs and stuff. We headed home around 4 and when we got home I cooked my very first turkey dinner. YUM, it was so good. I was very proud of myself. Other than that we just relaxed the rest of our night, watched some movies and stuff. We definitely missed being with our families this year, but we had a wonderful first Christmas together. Spending it just the two of us made it extra special, it was nice.

Today we decided to head out and spend the gift cards we got. Chris received a 50 dollar home depot card from his boss, so we went there and got a new toaster, electric can opener and a new coffee pot. Then we headed to Old Navy with the gift cards Dave and Sue had gotten us. So that was fun, I got some new jeans, a couple of shirts and a fleece and Chris pretty much the same thing.

All in all we had a wonderful Christmas, we received wonderful gifts from our families and they too loved the gifts they received from us. This Christmas was a special one for Chris and I, and the snow we got today was the icing on the cake. Although Chris has shoveled twice this evening already and you can't even tell. ha! Anyways, I hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Christmas and I wish you all an even better 2005.

My nephew Austin as most of you know is my best bud. While he was in Seattle for our wedding he had his own Spiderman camera and took some great pics. Which made me very proud that he did such a good job. So anyways here are some of those pictures. Posted by Hello

Where Does Time Go?

So I really cannot believe that it is Christmas in two days, that is just insane. This last year has flown by, it is crazy. And never mind it is going to be my birthday in just a few weeks.

I am very much like a little kid when it comes to Christmas, I always have been and I imagine that I always will be. Everyday I am eager to check the mail to see if we got any Christmas cards, and yesterday I spent most of my day looking for the UPS man who was delivering a package from Dave and Sue all the way from Edmonton. So yes, ALL DAY I checked the tracking on the parcel and I kept going outside to see if UPS had come yet. FINALLY at around 3 pm or something like that, I went out to check the mail and there it was on the front step. I was so excited and immediately brought it in and opened it up to put the presents under the tree. Now inside this package among the gifts were two Bob the Builder stockings that Sue had made for us. Inside these stockings I could feel that there were more goodies inside. I wanted so bad to peek inside, but before I could my wonderful brother called and threatened to kick my butt if I looked in them before Christmas morning. haha! So ever since yesterday they have been hanging and I have been resisting. There is only two days left, so I am certain I can do it. haha!

So that brings me to today where we are expecting another package from UPS, this time from Chris's family back in Seattle. So again I will be so excited all day, checking the mail and looking for the UPS man. And my luck he won't come till the very end of the day.

Oh and one more thing, the other day we went to the grocery store and I got my very first ginger bread house. Again I was very excited and when we got home I could not wait to build it. It was fun and it looks smashing for a first timer;)

Merry Christmas!!!

The Sucky Journey to Weight Loss

Losing weight really must be one of the toughest challenges in life. It is so frustrating, one week you do great and lose 5 pounds, then the next week nothing. You are constantly surrounded by so much crap, whether that be fast food, or just plain old junk food. It is everywhere you go. And it sucks.

I get discouraged very easily when it comes to this and get that feeling that I cannot do it. And it drives me nuts that I get this way. I guess mainly I get like this because it frustrates me so much I need to lose weight in the first place. I was never fat growing up, in fact all my life up until a few years ago I was in great shape and weighed 130 pounds. But then I just ate too much crap and didn't exercise the way I should have been and here I am. I know I can lose the weight I want, it is all about will power and making the right choices. Like for example, when I reach for a pop I need to stop myself and reach for some water. Or when I feel like snacking I reach for some fresh veggies instead of the chips. There is a million things you need to change in order to really lose weight, I have changed a lot of things but sometimes I don't think it is enough. The past few months I have lost weight, but it is far from where I want to be 3 or 4 months from now.

I guess the way I like to think of it is that since we moved out to MA and it will be a while since we will see so many family and friends, I am bound and determined to reach my goal so much that they won't recognize the new me. What a wonderful thought that I will have lost so much weight they will have to take a double look to know it's me.

Anyways that is my ramblings for today. I was sitting here drinking a slimfast shake for breakfast and so came the thoughts of weightloss.

Happy Birthday Dad!

So my dad would like you all to think that today is his 49th birthday or some number of that sort. But it isn't, but just to be nice I will not disclose his age. hehe! Although, what is age really. I mean, I know guys my dad's age who are holed up at home in their rocking chairs all day. Not my dad, he is very young in many ways. So he doesn't have much hair anymore, he really hasn't had much hair for as long as I can remember. lol. But he is very young at heart, very active and healthy. So I guess the fact he just turned 60 doesn't really matter. OOPS, did I just tell you his age;) Well anyways, happy birthday dad, love you!

It's Fricken Cold Tonight!

Just thought I would let you all know that it is cold outside...it's 7 degrees, and again....for the Canadians that is -14 Celsius. But with the windchill it is -12 F and -24 C. So yah, it is cold out tonight. BUT the good part is it is still snowing a bit so that makes me feel better:) There is a "chance" of snow on Christmas, I have my fingers crossed.

And I leave you to wonder...why do I drink Pepsi after 9PM??? I do not know why I do this, it makes me so wired everytime. Like a kid on a sugar high. It is odd though, it's only Pepsi, I could have drank some coke and I would be sound asleep right now. But did I drink coke...NOOOOO! Serves me right for drinking the pop in the first place. Should have had some water:)

It's SNOOOOOWING!!!!!

Well I was happy to wake up to SNOW this morning. It is supposed to snow on and off all week, so I have my fingers crossed that we will have a white Christmas. My luck though we brought Seattle weather with us and it will rain all through Christmas, yuck. Anyways it is cold out today, it is 16. For my Canadian friends that's -9. But then it is colder with the windchill, I am not sure what the windchill is today.

So we found a new place to take Belle for her walks. There is a "pond" not far from here called Jamaica Pond and it is something like 2 miles around it and it is really pretty. We took her there for a nice long walk yesterday and will prob make that her new place for her daily "big" walk.

I can't believe that it is almost Christmas, wasn't it just Christmas the other day. Man time flies. Anyways we are looking forward to Christmas, it will be different being so far away from both of our families. But we are most definitely looking forward to our first Christmas together since getting married. We are not sure of our exact plans as of yet, we will decide as Saturday gets closer.

I had to post this pic because it is just too cute. That's our friends Shawn and Celeste and their twin girls Ana and Alyssa. Don't you just want to pinch them they are so cute! Posted by Hello

Here is one of my favorite pictures of Belle Posted by Hello

One more thing....

I forgot to add that she must have been chewing on a stick or something outside last night and when she came inside she was like choking. It freaked us out cause she was trying to breathe and we didn't know what was wrong with her. So we decided to make her throw up with hydrogen peroxide. And she seemed fine after that, so whatever it was must have went all the way down or something. The peroxide reminds me of our incident with her last week....

So Sunday a few weeks ago, we come home and I am making dinner, Chris is watching tv and well Belle is sitting at the top of the stairs like she always does. There are dogs up there so I think that is why she always wants to be up there. Anyways so I go to get her and find her chewing on a "rat and mouse bait" package. Of course the package was empty, but the question was, was it empty cause she ate it or was it empty cause she just found an empty wrapper outside or something. So Chris called the poison control number on this package and they told us to make her throw up using peroxide. So we poured it down her throat and she hated every second of it. And within 5 minutes she threw up alright, she threw up a lot. And it smelled WRONG! So in the midst of gagging myself and not wanting to throw up as well, I had to leave poor Chris to clean up the mess. It was so gross. But the good news is there was no bright blue or green colors in it, which means she did not injest any and she is fine. But it was a scary experience regardless. Of course the whole vomit thing turned out to be very humorous!

My crazy dog!

So normally when Chris goes to bed, Belle follows him and she snuggles in under the blankets and goes to sleep with him. Normally she likes to sleep in between us under the blankets, but after a while it gets to hot for her and she gets all panty and stuff so she has to come out and lay on top. So last night like every other night she did the same, she was snuggled between us when she had to come out for air. But instead of just laying at the end of the bed she decided she wanted to play. So she went and got her squeaky bone and was in my face with it, so we got mad at her and took it away and told her to lay down. So she did. For like THREE SECONDS. After that it was up and down, lick your face, like your feet, under the blankets, on top of the blankets. ARGH! Finally she decided to settle on top of the blankets but directly in between us, which doesn't work because when she does that all the blankets end up in the middle and Chris and I are left on either side with a very big draft. It was so frustrating, but finally she crawled back under the blankets and assumed her position snuggled between us and finally we all got to sleep.

Lori, thought she was nerdy in the other pic, so here is a non nerdy picture, hehe! What a beautiful picture of their family. Posted by Hello

Happy Birthday Mum!!!!

So today would have been my mum's 58th birthday. So I thought it fitting that I write something here about her today. Out of everyday of the year today is probably the day I think of her the most. They say when you lose someone you love over time it becomes easier, which is most definitely true. But you don't ever stop missing them. And I definitely miss my mum everyday. For those of you who knew her, you know what I mean when I say she truly was one of the most generous and caring people. She had a faith and love for God that was so incredibly strong, that even when she was sick and right before she passed away, that love and faith NEVER faltered. Which is something that has helped me so much in my own life. My mum was my best friend, my rock and everything about who she was is who I have always wanted to be. We all lost someone so special and amazing the day she passed away, but what wonderful memories of her we are left with. I could tell you a million stories about her, and about how incredible she was and how blessed I was to have 19 years with her and having the most amazing mother I could have ever hoped for. It is because of her and all she taught me in her life that when I screw up and when things get tough I remember her faith in me and how much she believed in me. So happy birthday mum, we all miss you and love you more than we could ever express. I think about how wonderful it would be to still have you with us...but I know you are in the most amazing place and free of all the pain that you went through. And really, how awesome to be with Jesus.

For some reason one thing that is really sticking out in my mind today was my surprise 16th birthday party that my family planned for me. I remember the look on her face and her making fun of Lori and I when we wanted to have brussel sprouts and cheese sauce instead of all the chips everyone else was eating. It really was funny, a moment though I am sure only Lori can really see the humor in;) For those of you who don't know Lori, she has been my best and most constant friend for so many years. Her and my mum were SO close and Lori was like a daughter to my mum. And just for Lori I must say....don't get mucky dirty and cheerio;)

Day 8 Saturday September 25th

We spent most of Saturday at Ben and Hannah's. It was their little boy Asher's first birthday party. It was a fun time, and he is one of the cutest kids. We headed out from their place pretty early in the evening and before we knew it we were finally almost in Boston. We arrived at the Richarde's house (the people we stayed with until we found our own place) in the early evening and were so happy that we did not have to wake up the next morning to drive.

Driving 3000 miles is very tiring and very tedious. But it was a wonderful experience and I would do it again. We saw so many things and went so many places we had never been. Some of the bigger cities we traveled through were....

Denver, Colorado
Kansas City, Kansas/Missouri
St. Louis, Missouri
Indianapolis, Indiana
Columbus, Ohio
New York, New York

So there you have it to the best of my memory. We did have an actual journal we were keeping on the road, but we have lost it so I am sure there is a good chance I have forgotten some things here.

The family we stayed with while we looked for a place were absolutely wonderful. We had a great time getting to know them, they really are just awesome people.

We were there with them for about 3 weeks until we found our own place. We live in a basement suite in Boston, the area of the city we live in is called Hyde Park.

Things have been great. When we first decided to move we weren't sure how things were going to work out. But things have really fallen into place for us and we love it and are so happy. God has provided in everyway imaginable since we have been here, and we are so blessed to have this new opportunity in our lives. If you asked either one of us 2 years ago if we thought we would be settling in Boston we would have laughed. But you never know what God has in store for you.

Just a sign for New York we took a picture of having a hard time believing we had driven so far east already. Posted by Hello

This was the welcome sign driving into Ohio, and we took a picture of it. Posted by Hello

Day 7 Friday, September 24th

We got up in the morning, had some coffee and were excited in realizing how close to Boston we actually were.. So we got our stuff together and it was back on the road for us. As we headed onto the highway and into Pennsylvania, we started seeing signs for New York. Which we were both like "WOW, we have actually driven so far east we are actually seeing signs for New York.

So we drive...I think by far my favorite state that we drove through was Pennsylvania. Although the roads were pretty crappy, all the hills and trees changing colors were so pretty. It sure made the drive through so much shorter.

New Jersey was also very uneventful and finally we reached the George Washington Bridge. Which crosses into New York state and Manhattan. Not long after we crossed the bridge we could see the outline of the city and most noticeably the Empire State Building. So as crazy as we are, we decided to get off the highway and drive straight into Manhattan. Now THAT was an experience.....driving in Manhattan and through Times Square at 8 PM on a Friday night. It was crazy, but definitely worth it. There were SO many people everywhere and all the lights were incredible. It was definitely the highlight of the trip for me. As we were driving through Times Square, all I could keep saying was "I can't believe we are in New York City". It really was awesome.

Finally we made our way back to the highway, drove through Connecticut and into Massachusetts. It was getting very late so we decided to spend the night with an old friend of Chris's in Amherst, MA.

Today we traveled in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Day 6 Thursday, September 23

This day of traveling was pretty uneventful for us. Again we spent all day driving, we only stopped for gas and food. And of course to let Belle go the the bathroom and run around and stuff.

Chris's mom has a friend in Youngstown, Ohio, which is near the Ohio/Pennsylvania border. So we decided to spend the night at her house. We drove all day and arrived at Sue's house around 8 pm. Of course Sue fed us, and she had a wonderful time entertaining Belle. We had a very nice visit with her, Sue is a riot and there is never a dull moment with her around.

Today we travelled in Indiana and Ohio.

This is a picture of us at the castle ruins at Ha Ha Tonka State Park. Posted by Hello

Day 5 Wednesday September 22

We spent the afternoon hanging out with Tab and her mom. First Chris, Tab and I went to a State Park not too far away where they had these old castle ruins. The park was called Ha Ha Tonka State Park. Check it out it, it was very pretty there. Check out the photo galleries on that website. After we left there we headed back to Tab's place and had pizza with her and her mom. It was so nice to relax without having to drive. But alas, we had to get on the road. Around 5 pm or so we headed out. Unfortunately when we got into St. Louis it was already dark so our pictures never turned out. But we did go see the arch and it was awesome, that thing is huge. Well because it was dark we didn't spend too much time in St. Louis, but we did drive around the city a little bit and saw the Savvis Center (hockey) and Busch Stadium (St. Louis Cardinals).

And so yet again, we were on the road. We drove for quite a while into the night. Through Southern Illinois and into Indiana. Once we both started to get really tired, we pulled into a town in Indiana called Cloverdale for the night. Which I found kinda funny because I used to live in a town called Cloverdale in the Vancouver area.

Today we traveled in Missouri, Illinois and Indiana.

Day 4 Tuesday Sept 21

We left Hays at around 10 am this morning and stopped at Bank of America to deposit a check. On the Hays map it says that it is the German capital of Kansas! Fantastik! Also, the mall in Hays is actually just called "THE MALL" So apparently every time I've ran to the mall, it hasn't been the "real" mall because that is in the middle of Kansas. Other things in the middle of Kansas, you ask? Well that would be nothing. A lot like eastern Washington--flat, brown, and green in places.

We stopped in Salina to fill up and to grab a bite at Wendy's. Now we are off to Kansas City, then to Osage Beach, Missouri to visit with Tabitha.

Oh I forgot to mention that driving from Denver to Hays we were listening to "midnight trucker radio". It was kinda funny.

7:00 PM

So we are almost to Osage Beach, Missouri. Tabitha is putting us up in the "Scottish Inns" for the night. Quite fitting:) I think Kansas City was nice, but we drove through it during rush hour, which sucked. I think I got a picture of Arrowhead/Kaufman Stadium as they are right next to each other. Evey has been driving all day long today. Her own choosing. We luckily scraped up enough change to pay for the toll on the Kansas Turnpike (which is just I-70 east from Topeka to Kansas City). We hit the starbucks in Lawrence, Kansas (rock chalk jayhawk) to get a couple of strawberry and cream fraps, which was a nice treat. So here comes Osage Beach, and I think our doggie officially hates our guts now.

2:00AM

We just got back from Tabitha's house after going to Denny's first for some eats. Tab's mom, who is a riot, was staying there for a couple of days as well. So we visited with them and looked at our wedding pics and just relaxed and drank some wine. Tomorrow we plan to hang out for a while and then take off, probably in the late afternoon sometime.

Monday......10:30 PM

So we got into Cheyenne, Wyoming around 5:00 PM. We decided to stop off at a rest stop to let Belle out to run around for a bit. There was these two statues and for some reason Belle was tripping out barking at one of them. It was pretty funny, sometimes she's not the brightest bulb.

From there we headed into Colorado and into Denver. We would have liked to have driven around the city for a bit but we were already running late. So we just found the Pepsi Center where the Colorado Avalanche play. It is a pretty cool looking building. We walked around for a bit with the dog and took a few pictures and stuff.

After we left Denver we continued east on I-70 to Limon, Colorado and stopped in at Denny's for some coffee and some eats. As we were leaving there Chris decided we didn't need gas quite yet, and then a few miles down the road the gas light came on AGAIN. We pulled into this gas station in a place called Arriba only to find that it was closed. But LUCKILY the lady let us fill up anyways. So now we have a full tank of gas and we are back on the road. Our goal tonight is a place called Salina, Kansas. We will see how we are feeling.

And if anybody cares, there are STUPID bugs in here and we can't get em. GRRRRR!!!

3:21 AM

Finally we decided to stop in a place called Hays, Kansas. It's super late and we are both pretty tired, so we didn't quite make it to Salina. Tomorrow we have about a 7 hour drive to my friend Tabitha's place who lives about an hour and a half southwest of St Louis.

Ok, it is so time to pass out!!

So today we drove in Wyoming, Utah, Colorado and Kansas.

Day 3 Mon Sept 20

Well Evey is driving through Wyoming today. We stopped in "Little America", and hey guess what? Cones there are .35 cents!! I think leading up to the exit there was about 12 billboards stating this fact.

It is no longer snowing, I guess that was only in the Evanston area. My doggie is being pretty good for the fact that she has to sit up in the front seat the whole time. She is such a good girl.

We are listening to Switchfoot right now, and we got stop up here in Rawlins for some gas.

So last night (and yesterday) we drove in 5 states, which I think is some sort of record. At least for us. WA,OR,ID,UT,WY. We were almost in trouble coming from Idaho into Utah because we almost ran out of gas. We went about 20 or so miles on the gas light until luckily we found an open "Flying J" travel Center in Snowville , Utah (in the middle of nowhere) at like 12:12am. Let me tell you, if we would have ran out of gas, that would have SUCKED big time, cause there was nothing on I-84 where we were. Just darkness, and that lingering thought in the back of my head that Utah sucks.

Day 3 Monday Sept 20

Ok wow, we woke up a little while ago to a chilly 31 degrees and its snowing. Hopefully it will clear up as the morning passes. It is so pretty though, and the flakes are so huge. Ok I have to go drive now.

Day 2...Sunday Sept 19

This morning we somehow managed to get ourselves up and ready at a decent hour, had some breakfast at the hotel and then headed down to Vancouver Washington to spend some time with Lief and Terri. We were at their place for probably an hour or more and had a really nice visit with them. We were very happy when they loaded us up with jars of homemade jam and pickled beets, fiesta corn and three bean salad:) So I guess between that and our "burger bucks" from mom and dad we will be able to eat on our trip out east:)

FINALLY we made it out of Washington and we just passed through Pendleton Oregon. It's almost 4 PM, I am not too sure how long we are going to drive today. Depends how we are feeling I guess. Chris is pretty happy though since we are way into Oregon and we still have the Seahawks game on the radio. And even better, the game is almost over and the Hawks are leading 10-6. If they can hold on and win they will be 2-0 to start the season. Seattle fans need something to be happy about cause we sure haven't got that from the Mariners this season.

GOOD NEWS----The Hawks held on to win the game 10-6. 2-0 to start the season, the first time in 10 years they go 2-0 on the road to start the season off.

OOPS, I just spilled gatorade on my dog:)

12:19 AM Mon Sept 20/04

UTAH SUCKS

2:35 AM

FINALLY we have decided to stop for the night. It is just after 2:30 am and we are not far into Wyoming in a place called Evanston. We made good time today trying to make up for the whole day we lost yesterday. The drive today was pretty uneventful, except for when Belle puked in the car. Luckily Chris got her to the floor before she puked in his lap. I think we have just let her eat way too much crap today. AND Utah sucks, their roads are horrible and their signs make no sense. We saw about 20 different exit signs for "RANCH". We are yet to figure out what the heck that means. Anyways Motel 6 is always a good cheap choice:) This room is so freaking huge. I think my puppy is so happy to be out of the car for the day.

Ok, so now we NEED to sleep. Tomorrow we need to do some laundry here at the hotel and then the plan is to drive through all of Wyoming and into Colorado.

States visited today--Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming

Day 1....STILL in Washington

Well the plan this morning was to leave Seattle around 8:00 am. But of course that DID NOT happen. This probably had a lot to do with the fact that we stayed out WAY too late last night. We got together with some friends at a pub in Seattle and it was after 1:00am by the time we got home. And also there is the fact that Chris and I are both procrastinators. So when we finally woke up at 7:30 this morning we still had SO much to do.

After many hours at the storage sorting through things (in the pouring rain) we finally got a load of stuff in Chris's dads Explorer that we are storing in their basement for the time being. Then after a lot of organizing and MAKING things fit we FINALLY got the SUV packed as full as we could. You really should see how much stuff we managed to cram into this thing. It's a Buick Rendezvous. I had never heard of it before, but it's pretty nice.

We headed over to Chris's parents for a little while, and after we got loaded up with brownies, cough candy (I'm sick) and "burger bucks" we went down to Bryan and Andrea's for about an hour or so. Then we FINALLY got on the road around 8:00pm, which was only 12 hours later than we had wanted to leave in the first place. From there we headed down to Centralia and spent some time visiting with Uncle Bob and Aunt Julie and Grandpa and Char. Grandpa and Char got themselves a dog, we thought Belle had lots of energy until we met their little Lhaso Apso Jo-Jo, she is so stinking fast and so cute. Anyways we left there around 11pm or so and decided to spend the night in Chehalis. So now here we are at the hotel and Chris is happy cause he is watching ESPN news or something and this tv is so BIG.

So the plan is to get out of here early tomorrow morning...that's the plan, but we will see if that actually happens:)

States travelled through....STILL IN WASHINGTON--boy we got far today.
