Happy Monday

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Chris and I didn't do a whole lot this weekend. We stayed close to home since we needed to get some work in the yard done and I wasn't feeling too great most of Saturday and Sunday.
We don't have much of a yard but we make do with what we have. I still need to plant my veggies and pick up some flowers and stuff to plant this coming week. Our grass was very patchy and in fact there was a whole section that didn't have anything growing at all. So Saturday we spent the day cleaning everything up. We loosened all the soil where needed and Chris put grass seed on the lawn. Hopefully within 3-6 weeks we will have lots of grass. We will most likely go out this weekend and get some fertilizer to help it grow. Chris is not a happy camper after his Avalanche have gone down 2 games to none in their series against Anaheim. I was pretty disappointed that the Oilers couldn't get a win in game 1 against the Sharks last night in San Jose. Hopefully tonight will be a different story. GO OILERS!

Today was bath day for Belle. Poor thing hates it, she sits in the tub glaring at me the whole time shaking like she's in the artic or something. After her bath once she has been dried off she always goes nuts and tears around the house like a crazy dog. It's pretty funny. But the good news is that now she smells purty and is oh so soft:)

Hope you are feeling better. Sorry i forgot to call you last night before the game(or should i say non-game) I will try to call tonight before the game.
Nice feet, who's idea was that? And i know about the grass problem, Shadow kinda turned my little green lawn brown through the winter, so i have put some grass seen/fetilizer mix on it and in a few weeks i will fertilize it again, hopefully it works, i will take some before and after pics.
Well working a little late tonight, hopefully the last truck shows up soon.

lol....its not feet. haha! Those were there when we moved in. They are just stepping stones that usually lead to a bench that we have moved right now because of the grass:)

So I just read your comment on Heather's blog. Are you giving away Starbuck's cards? There is a Starbuck's only a few blocks away from us. It is deadly. I loved the Christmas drinks and the Cinnamon Dolce. But they are no more. I guess I will have to keep trying new things. How goes the mouse hunting? Nothing for us since the weekend.

Hey there! Good job on the yard you guys! I can just imagine your little patch with thick green grass that Belle will just love to go out and...oh well, it was nice while it lasted, eh? Thanx for the updates & comments! Oh Chris - so sorry about the 'Lanch...I've been catching snippets of sports news when I can, usually on CNN. As they say over here, "Bugger!!"

Evey!! You are so sweet for checking up on me!! I know that I have been a loser blogger friend! Your garden is soooo cute!! I can't wait to get ours done. You know, some times, less space in a yard is better. For us it means less to keep alive!! :) I hope that I didn't miss your birthday. I remember Belle's birthday. I hope that you had a wonderful day!! You deserve the best birthday ever and with your husband I am sure that it was! :)

Your little yard is so cute! When our dog, Linus, used to do the crazy after bath run, we called it the "buck wild run"! We still call it that if Smudge goes crazy! Ha!

So fun is gardening! You need some vertical plants like clematis. What ambiance it would create!
