IKEA

I love IKEA! Chris and I could spend hours on end there just walking around and looking at everything. I always love the fact that even when we don't have a lot of money to spend we can make off with a bunch of stuff. We spent under 20 dollars tonight and we got 2 sets of tupperware, coasters, spatula, salad spoon and fork, paper towel holder, 6 hook coat rack, 4 dish towels, 200 bendy straws, rug and a new frying pan. And because I am so awesome I even took pictures for you:) Oh and we each had a hot dog and a coke for 2 bucks. Now thats a cheap dinner!

We are also Ikea lovers! Nothing like the $1.00 breakfast either. Our monthly shopping trips finds us bringing home (too) many bargains. And thanks to Premier Ralph (and his $400/person rebate), we just bought new living room furniture. YEAH!

I get so overwhelmed in there and I end up bringing home all kinds of things I really don't need. But I love their Sweedish Meatballs!!

When did they open an Ikea in Boston? I must have missed that one...but I'll definately stop on in on my next visit home.

I LOVE IKEA too! I furnished my new apartment in Calgary with all IKEA stuff and then 4 months later I ended up moving to the USA. It was all given to friends or packed in boxes. I can't wait to get all of my boxes in May when we go up there. IKEA is just too far away from us now - Seattle is the closest I think!

Okay, IKEA is like my FAVORITE STORE IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!!!!!!! :) Every time my husband and I go on a trip somewhere where there is an Ikea we make special plans so that we can go shopping (for hours) there!! We are so bummed that there is not one here BUT . . . . they just announced that we will get on in 2007!! I was actually thinking of posting about it!! I am drooling over your finds!!! :)

We all love Ikea, too! It's a great place for kids and yes, cheap dinner! We like to go in the evening and we all eat swedish meatballs, then we drop the kids in the play place and go shopping without them! You can't ask for more than that!

Sadly we don't have one here. We used to when we were kids, we had some of their furniture but it closed ages ago. There was a rumour they were bringing it back but they will not because we don't have sunday shopping. Perhaps they should figure out how many of us order it from the catalogue and they would see we can be big spenders.

When I was in Vancouver I bought the same rugs for my bathroom....
