Also, mourning with you. It should have been theirs... but they put up one hell of a fight to get to tonight and I am still immensely proud of my boys in copper and blue! And anyone who rubs in this loss can kiss my lily white.... well you know. They are still awesome.
Honestly, Evey... I was literally queasy when they lost, and I had tears as well.
After Weight got hurt he ended up coming back in the game. I guess I must have missed the part where they said he wouldn't play in the rest of the games though. I guess we didn't need him afterall anyway.
It was a good game, even though no Oilers fan can take comfort in that right now. They made it much farther than I am sure a lot of people gave them credit for! So yay for them!
Hello Evey... I go to church with Bryan, Andrea, Linda and John and I have read your blog but had yet to comment.... I was listening to the news the other day and heard that the Oilers had lost. The first person I thought of was you. (even though I don't know you) Though I am not a hockey fan.. I know the feeling of disappointment when your favorite team has gotten so far and don't quite make it to the finish line. But what a great accomplishment for them to even make it as far as they did. Just reading your excitement up until this post has been fun. God bless!

Take small comfort in the fact that there are many in mourning with you, here in Edmonton. :(
I'm so sorry Evey. I admit, I got caught up in it all and wantd them to win because it would have been a hell of a come-back story!
Ouch! I am guessing they lost today by the tone of your post.
I am sorry but it was so much fun while it lasted. Especially reading as you got more and more excited.
Keep your chin up, there is always next season! :)

Edmonton did good while they lasted.
I'm sorry your team didn't win. Chris was pretty bummed as well. You won't get any salt in the wounds by me.
I am sad for you! It was sad. Oh well it was a fun ride!

Tammy Weight never came back in that game. He came back on the bench but never played after the hit. PAT ATTENTION:P

Here in Calgary, we know how it feels. Life goes on!
Are you still in mourning?! Where ARE you?
I am sorry for your loss. :)
Evey I know how you feel. I remember game 7 in New York in 1994.
Evey- are you going to survive or are you in bed mourning!? LOL!
OK EVEY, Enough pouting! Come back I miss our conversations. Where are you guys?
Evey? Where are you? Was the loss that much of an upset you have hidden under your duvet for all this time in dispair?
