This is the picture they took of us right before we got on the boat. We picked it up after the cruise....it was included in the price we paid. It might look a little out of focus because I actually took a picture of the picture with our digital camera. Posted by Picasa

Most of you know Chris played softball with the guys from church this past summer. Fun times! This is the team picture.....my hubby is the unhappy looking one on the far right standing. They lost that night and he was bummed cause he couldn't play cause of his knee.

Rain Rain GO AWAY!!!

Ok, so it is STILL raining. I don't think we have seen the sun in over a week....no joke!! The whole New England area has been hammered with rain for like 9 days straight. Last night it was POURING and when we were driving home it was like driving through rivers the roads were so waterlogged. We shoulda had a boat. When we got home we knew Belle was going to have to go to the bathroom, but we also know what a wuss she is when it comes to rain. She HATES rain...so much that it does not matter how bad she has to "go" she will not until it is beyond waiting anymore. So we get home and Chris immediately takes her out hoping she will go.....YEAH RIGHT!! She ran out and turned right back around and back inside without evening going down one step. She had the look of "are you kidding me?" Anyways over the next hour or so she kept pacing and whining and jumping at the door. So each time we took her out we had a little more hope that she would actually go. I mean, we actually have to drag her down the stairs in this weather and make her stand in the yard. Finally after about 6 tries, I opened the door and I knew we were good cause I didn't have to drag her out and down the stairs.....she RAN down the stairs, found her spot and we no longer had to worry about her leaving us a nice chocolate surprise on the carpet:) So yeah the rain affects us all. lol. I hope it stops soon.....they say it's supposed to taper off after the weekend. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

On another note, last night we went out with some friends and saw "The Greatest Game Ever Played." Was a good movie. After we went to Friendly's and had some Ice Cream Cake....it was our friend Jeff's birthday. His parents and Carolynne got him a game used Johnny Damon baseball bat. Nice!! I told Chris not to get any ideas....he is not getting a cool gift like that;)

I have a mountain of laundry I need to fold and we are going to go looking at camera's today...so who knows by the end of the day I might have one finally.

The weather has been pretty crappy since the weekend. It has been rainy and windy and just plain gloomy outside. I don't think we have seen the sun since Friday. I like the rain....in moderation, I just hate when it stays for days at a time. I find it depressing and it makes me SO sleepy. I can't wait till it snows, I love the snow!

Chris and I are planning a weekend to New York City at some point over the Christmas season. I am so excited. I used to always talk about how I wanted to go to New York during the holidays and see all the lights and store windows decorated. I am excited to see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center and to go ice skating on the ice rink there. I am not sure yet if we will go just ourselves or maybe go with some friends. Either way it will be a fun time. What is everyone else planning for the holidays this year?

Just a Few Things....

First I feel the need to point out that the Oilers won again last night. They beat the Ducks 4-2. They are 3 and 0 going into tonight's game against the Los Angeles Kings. I am hoping we will win tonight and continue this win streak.

Some guy got pulled in over in front of our house and was immediately busted for drugs...SPECIAL!

Now here is something that Chris and I wonder eveytime we walk past a store in the mall and see the mannequins on display. Now it's common knowledge that when we women get cold we have what some would like to call "headlights" so tell me WHY a mannequin needs to have hard nipples.....we notice this is the case in a lot of stores lately. I don't get why they feel the need to do that. Anyone else notice this, or is it just us? lol

Excuse me sir, but it's not 1985 anymore........

The other night Chris and I were at the laundromat. When we got there we were the only ones there except one weird looking dude. He was wearing high top runners with his tight black jeans and the tongue of his runners were sticking out. He had looooooooong stringy blond hair that was half in a ponytail. He might have had a goatee of some sort...I really don't know I tried not to look at him too much. He looked like he could have been related to Axl Rose. Anyways....when we got there he was putting his clothes in the washer. Chris and I went about our business putting our laundry in. Mr creepy man left for a few minutes...I assume to go get some change from the little pizza shop on the corner. So he comes back in and walks to the back of the laundromat to get a laundry bag from the machine in the back. Now keep in mind these laundry bags are FIFTY cents. Chris and I watch as he puts his money in only for no bag to come out. WELL......let me tell you....that man not only needs a haircut and a shower he needs ANGER management. He proceeded to punch this machine like 5 times really hard as if it was a punching bag. He then got a good kick in there. So he storms out past Chris and I, I don't know where he went...I assume back to the pizza shop. He comes back with a garbage bag and then heads over to the washer his clothes were in and started to put his WET clothes in the garbage bag. I should point out that every piece of clothing he pulled out of that washer was black. All the while muttering and swearing under his breath. I mean this dude was MAD. He then stormed out pushing a laundry cart on the way out. Chris and I tried not to look at him, I was scared he was going to beat us up. lol. It was funny, and I guess he was so angry he lost his 50 cents that he decided not to dry his clothes. Someone needs to tell him its NOT 1985 anymore. Scary scary looking man!!

Hockey Night in Canada

It's back and you know Chris and I spent the evening tonight watching hockey. It's the best day of the week....it really is.

Tonight both Chris and I are happy campers....his Avalanche beat the Dallas Stars 3-2. Colorado's rookie backup goalie started tonight and he looked awesome.

The important game of the night though was of course was the Canucks at my Oilers. After a very stressful 3rd period of watching both teams take penalty after penalty and Vancouver managing about a gazillion 5 on 3's. It sucked supreme when the Canucks took the lead late in the 3rd on the power play. I had all but given up till we got a power play late and Raffi Torres scored with 20 seconds left. PHEW!!! Was I excited.....then came overtime. Overtime stresses me out, you should ask Chris, I am always a mess. lol. No goal in overtime and so came the shootout. Now here I am thinking well we are screwed.....you got Naslund AND Bertuzzi going for the Nucks, you gotta figure that's at least ONE goal. But NOOOOOOOO The Juicer shut them down. Raffi and Hemsky scored for us in the shootout and we won the game 4-3. I am a very very HAPPY camper.

I am SO SO SO sorry to all my friends out there who love their Canucks. But you all need to EAT IT!!! ;) You gotta admit it was a great game. Hockey Night in Canada couldn't have asked for a better game tonight. But we still won and I am happy happy happy:) THANK GOD we played Markkanen tonight....I think if Ty was in net the Canucks would have won that game long before it was over.

Alright it is past my bedtime, I am outta here.....hope everyone has a great Sunday!!

Rainy Saturday

Woke up to a gloomy rainy day today. Usually I hate rainy days like this, but today it gives us an excuse to lounge around and do nothing . Except of course watch hockey once 7pm comes around. I suppose there is also a good chance we will head out to do some laundry. Exciting I know.

My dog is retarded and has to go to the bathroom but won't go outside cause it's raining.

Went out for dinner with some friends last night and then back to their place to watch The Interpreter. It was a good movie, however, also a movie the could have ended about 20 times before it actually did. It really dragged in some places. Overall though it was good and we liked it.

I was sick on Wed and Thursday and thought I felt better yesterday but felt crappy again today when I woke up. But all is good because Tylenol Cold is my friend:)

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Oh and one more thing......

LETS GO OILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hockey Night at Chris and Evey's

GO OILERS GO

I have an unhappy hubby right now!! Why you ask? Well it might have something to do with the fact that my OILERS just beat his Avalanche 4-3!!! I am a nice wife, so I decided to keep the gloating to a minimum.

Man have we missed hockey, we watched hockey ALL night. We flipped through all the games till ours came on at 10pm. Now it is over and it is after 1am. And with that I am off to bed.

Picture Day

So below I posted some pic from our dinner cruise a few weeks ago and some other random pics that were on the same roll of film. Enjoy!!

Today my friends is the most important day of the year. Or at least pretty close:) Tonight the 2005-2006 NHL season kicks off. Chris and I are excited, and lets all hope my Oilers can shut down his Avalanche tonight!!

I have to vent about something....as most of you know I live in Boston. What you may not know is how INSANE people are here about the STUPID Red Sox. Chris and I cannot stand the Red Sox. It has made this past year living here very interesting to say the least. Well it is baseball playoff time. The Sox got their butts handed to them by Chicago last night and while it is my hope they will do the same tonight I am so annoyed that Lost will not be on till 11:30 pm because the local TV station feels it more important to air the Red Sox game which is already going to be on 2 other channels. But hey at least I hope it just gives Sox fans more channels to watch them lose on. haha!

With that said I must end this post with something MUCH more important...

GO OILERS GO!!!!
