So...it took about two years for my parents to take me to the stinkin' vet. It's about time!!! Dang people! Don't you know that I'm supposed to have shots every year??? Well anyways, I got my rabies shot, my distemper shot, and a shot for something else for parvo (even I have no idea what that is). By the way, I was a very good girl. When the 3 needles poked me, I didn't even whimper at all. My parents were a little bit surprised with my behavior, but I was trying to be good. The big metal scale they put me on was a tad bit scary though.
I got a basic checkup and the doctor looked at my teeth and gums, my eyes, and everything else. Apparently I check out just fine, although I am waiting for the results of my blood tests. I also got a shiny new golden tag for my collar that says I am rabies-free! (And yes, since my collar is purple, it matches quite nicely, thank you.)
So regardless, my parents haven't been blogging much lately. I felt that I needed to pick up the slack a little bit. Not a whole lot has been going on here. My mom is still bitter about the Oilers losing Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals to the Hurricanes. She is rooting for the Mariners now, and lately they've been playing pretty well. My dad is still watching the World Cup. Dang is that crap boring! All I see is a bunch of green--check that--I just see a bunch of gray. Plus, nobody ever scores! Most of the time I just fall asleep, but I'm pretty sure my dad is rooting for England or Germany.
So it turns out that my parents are pretty sure that our house got struck by lightning the other day. There were huge thunderstorms, and they were scary! But my dad figured out that the modem wasn't working and so he went and bought a new one and put it in yesterday, so now they are both able to sit over at the desk and surf away. Even I have a website! (Hey--it's the 21st Century--everybody has a website!) Anyways, I hope everybody has a good day!
