Winter Wonderland

I posted a picture of our backyard in my previous post. I took it last night around 1am. These pictures below I took around 9am and the snow is not supposed to stop till this evening sometime and it is coming down like crazy. Needless to say, we won't be doing much of anything today.

I was wandering around yesterday, in a golf shirt and khakis, no jacket, outside, in Edmonton, in February!!! It's nine o'clock in the morning today and it's already plus six. Of course, if we don't get some kind of precipitation soon, our grass is going to be brown all summer. :(

lol....yeah we were having a nice mild winter too and then this decided to rear its ugly head:)

I hope good ole Edmonton doesn't have brown grass all summer, that would be depressing.

So I'm guessing it's done snowing your way as we are getting the storm now. Good times for all. We made it home before it was too treacherous.

Actually it is still coming down like crazy out there.

We have not left the house today and don't plan on it. Our church (along with prob every other) was closed this morning.

WOW! I guess I should count my lucky stars because I haven't seen snow all winter, aside from when we went skiing in the mountains. Today Jeremy mowed the lawn and I washed my car. The sun is shining and it couldn't be nicer. Hopefully it stays this way until summer.

Sorry to hear your sad news!

Sad news?? I am not sad...I love the snow, I have not seen nearly enough of it this winter. It will probably be gone as quickly as it came.
