Goodbye Sydney Bristow

Last night was the ALIAS series finale:( I hate when my favorite shows run their course. But like Andrea said in her post, at least I have LOST and Grey's Anatomy to fill the void. I won't go into the finale too much cause I know some of you (Dave) have not watched it yet. I thought it was great and I am so sad to see it go. I was overall happy with how they dealt with most of the characters and even more happy that they did leave some things open if they wanted to do anything with it down then road such as a movie.

So we have decided to put movie Tuesday on hold for the summer because last week was the last 5 dollar one because of summer. With school going to be out and stuff I suppose it makes sense since there will be more people out and about why not make more money. Perhaps we will still go once a month and have our new Tuesday date night be to the driving range.

We haven't watched Alias in about a year but I really liked it when I did. I'll have to read the net to see what happened. We are also LOST fans (even though I sometimes make fun of it, with all the creepy black smoke and all). It's great to have a date night set aside - it's so important. The driving range is a great date. It's fun, plus you have a weapon should the need arise:-)

I love going to the driving range. Mainly because I love golf but I can't golf to save my life. But it's fun to hit (or not) a few. Plus my husband is really good and kind of competitive so unless I go golfing with some girlfriends, I just stick to the driving range. Who knows, maybe someday it will pay off.

I thought it was a great ending, too! I was very pleased! And Sloan certainly got what he deserved!

Didn't see Alias...as a matter of fact I never have. I wish we could have caught a movie at the cheap theatre in Calgary because we don't have those down here. We were too busy though. Nice to see everything is going well with you though. Thanks for the Birthday greetings!

IVAN!! Sorry...had to say it. I was so surprised to see you on our family blog! It's been TOO LONG!

I right away called mom and told her to check out your blog, which led her to Dave's, which led her to see some pics of your dad.

It's truly amazing how the technology world can connect people.

Anyhoo, we need to touch base! I can't believe you are in the States? How long you been living there? When did you get married?...so many questions, not enough space to type.

D:)

I wish I could take part in date night every week. Okay not your date night but my own. We seem to get out every couple of months. Chris's shift don't help with that.

On another note, When will you get your test results?

Hi Evey!! I am so happy that you always check in on me!! It always makes my day. I just posted and gave my opinion about Alias too. I hadn't checked in on your thoughts about it yet but I have been dying to see what you thought. It sounds like you were pleased with it. I feel bad, I was kind of disappointed. Maybe my expecatations were too high. I don't know. Maybe it is my way of coping with letting them go. It is easier to leave angry! :) LOL! But, I think that you and I (and maybe others) caught on that there might be room for another Alias feature, via movie or sequal series. I am glad that you liked it.
